They suspended my account without any notice, after I made an inquiry they replied the site is consuming their stupid server. I had been experiencing down times few times a day. I didn't run any scripts to over load their server. This is what happens to all after few years. If you want to experience down times and server load errors please go 3ix.

They are terrible... support is purposely aimed to get your money and leave you high and dry... they are frequently down, emails will be cancelled to your friends and family because they provide for spam producers. In other words, your family and friends will flag all your emails as spam and there is nothing they or you can do about it. DO NOT spend your money with this company!!!

Mar ( blog at mar dot sg ) | Guys, you get what you pay for. Is there any other hosting that's cheaper than 3iX? No.
Nonone, goes and buy a Honda Accord and expect it to perform like a Ferrari.
So here's my review. I've been with them for a good few years, and I like them -- but only for their pricing.
Features: Average, cos I don't even utilise most of them. I set up using fantastico, and then my sites auto-run. Nothin fancy, so just a decent rating here. But they do provide fantastico with numerous stuffs. This I like.
Downtimes: Yes, unlike other hosts that I'm with, 3iX suffered has more downtimes than I would have liked, but thankfully, I was smart enough to only place my low-traffic websites with them. But which webhost has never suffered down time before? Nevertheless, I'd give them a poor rating on server uptime.
Pricing: Wonderful. $1 per month. Hah! No reasons to be using xxx.blogspot.com or xxx.wordpress.com eh? Unfortunately, it's the only best thing with 3iX -- but I'm not complaining.
Customer Relation: I don't know about the rest but my queries seem to get responds within 12hours at max. Maybe I never demand or hark them, but rather politely and nicely request their assistance. I think someone mention just a single customer service officer in the duration of their patronage, but for me, there's been a few, and they've been rather quick and direct. But nothin fancy here, just decent support imho, so an average rating too.
SUMMARY: if you're looking for one of the cheapest hosting around, look no further. But remember don't go expecting a Bluehost or Hostgator kind of service and support. Very high traffic websites, with businesses especially, shouldn't really be so cheap to be looking at 3iX and then complain when the sea gets rough.
Recommendation: If this is your first website, and you're looking to gain experience with hosting a website, no better and no cheaper than 3ix.

They have no idea what is happening and will give very general copy & past responses like We do apologies for the inconvenience caused. The server shutdown will last for 3 days. It happened to me, in one week, two breakdowns for days. Pay a little bit more and help yourself. Keep away from this jusk lousy bad web host.

Justyn ( justynd at gmail dot com ) | 3ix is PATHETIC. Steer clear of this host. They had an apparent disk crash and restored my site to a snapshot that was MONTHS old. I lost all my data and 40+ hours of web development. Not only did they not have a recent backup, but there was a 24-hour outage for my sites. What on earth am I paying them for? Their support knows NADA about anything and is known for belligerent dealings.
This is not the first issue I have had with them, but it will be the last, I can promise!

This is the worst hosting company in the world. Now Its not easy for me to shift into some other because It takes few days to transfer all my files and set up my site in a new server. I'm in a real trouble. Please stay away from this worst hosting company. There are free hosting providers better than this.

Luke ( donateblog at optusnet dot com ) | I must say, I have had a few server downtimes in the few years I've been with 3ix - but on the whole it hasn't been that bad. Any approach to live support resolves the problem. My site http://www.spankingallery.com has been up for about 6 months now with 2 downtimes caused by IP lockout - that has since been fixed.
In closing you get what you pay for, for the cost a few errors are expected. They are not the best, but I'll still use them for now...

oher words more.. Something about apache.. i don`t remember what…

I was go and connect my self on 3ix chat and I was speak with the Agent. She was doing i don`t know what and i was able to see this.

I was tell to the Agent that where i was put “Here must be the picture”, is missing the picture.
She was left me alone. She was close the chat. I was connect again. Another Agent. Tell him again all the story.
Later, I was connect with my FTP on my site and i was see that inside
of public_html is missing the folder called “images”. I was understand
that someone, was deleted all my pictures. Thats why the site shows
just thumbnails pictures, and the 900 pixeli picture, not. So, I was
go again to the 3ix live chat, and this time I was speak with “Eric”.
She was restored my site i guess and everything was fine.
But with the FTP i was go inside of this folder images. I was see that
inside i have a new one, called CityBanckOfAmerica.com.
I was tell this to Eric. Because never in my life i was uploaded this
folder in my site. It was not mine!!! Someone was put this inside of
my public_html. Maybe, the same person was changed my database 2 weeks
ago. I don`t know. Because I don`t understand how this thinks are
working.
Eric was deleted this folder and she was see that the folder from
public_htrml, called “images” haves chmod 777 permission activate. And
she was explain me that I don`t need to make this folder writable!
Eric was change the permission to 0755 for images and thumbnails
directory. Maybe this is the way used by the “strange person” to put
inside of this folder, another one called CityBanckOfAmerica.com.
On this afternoon (18.09.2009) I connect myself in to admin.

Pat ( putt(at)post(dot)com ) | 3ix.org is one of the worst web host i've came across. They suspend account without warning and it was offline for months ( i was away). When I asked why, they said the site was causing more than 10% load on server so it was suspended. My site is basic static html/image with no script. When I asked for log file, they send me bogus log which has no IP indication or is related to my website. When i asked why I wasn't informed, they said they did send me email, but when i asked them to forward a copy with full header, they wouldn't. Later admitted that they never send the email. Their support LIE, and are untrustworthy to work with. They are willing to make up information just to pass by. Please, do yourself a favor, don't host here, it isn't worth the trouble. warn others! It is cheap, and you get cheap service in return.

I'll have a good stretch, and then it would go down for hours at a time with no word from support. I guess that's what I should expect for $12 a year.

Now the stupid 3ix had some disk problem. my server has gone!!!! no website access whatsoever. No content. They are asking me to upload my back up copy. I have no freaking back up copy. and they dont answer phone. they dont give their ceo number. they dont talk to you. if you cal ltheir number, their number voicemail box is full. how are we suppose to trust this service? VERY DANGEROUS. DONT TRUST THIS GIMMICK AT ALL!!!!

CPP ( webmaster(at)choupipi(dot)com ) | Ever since I have hosted my site at 3IX, I'm seeing poor connection to the server. I have aided the support department on the debugging. Every time they response, they repeat debugging request for me without looking back at the history.
It doesn't make sense for me to own something which I can't have 99.9% access to. Hence I've request them to honor their 30 days money back guarantee.
I have made 5 request for them to HONOR THEIR 30 DAYS MONEY BACK GUARANTEE. Till date, no such commit from them. I will feedback in this forum if they do so. Hopefully people will make a better decision before deciding to host site with them.

Admittedly we have some problems from time to time, so I could not recommend it for a 100% uptime critical application.
For the money it's -so far- worth it and the chat operators help you sort out things (unless something really weird has taken place and they can't). Other hosts do not have chat and you have to wait hours for assistance by email.

Pradeep ( prmaster2010(at)yahoo(dot)com ) | I have 2 Extra plan Shared hosting with 3ix.org. Nowdays, 3ix.org Seems lots of server issues, i just installed Alertsite Monitoring service to my 5 websites. everyday i receive 7-12 errors / ser down reports, sometime it will takes 1-2 hours.
if we ask this issue to support center, support center staffs says , one moment i will checking [they never check, just sleep] when server got uptime, staffs says, no errors, your site working fine. please delete browser cache. blah,blah,blah..

Alan ( lon3tree at hotmail dot com ) | If my opinion is worth a cent, I would strongly recommend not getting cheat by this hosting company 3IX.com, over the last 8 months, I have more than 5 times of outage to my site, this include incoming and outgoing emails being lost in the air. Tech support staffs are the worst I have ever seen. Trust me, they are not customer oriented at all. Instead of easing the customers, they could just pissed them off, well, afterall, they have already got your money, so who cares, right? I've attached below a chat log for reference.
