NO | I wish I'd had the brains to check these reviews before giving mydomain my precious domains (and money). Well, dear reader, consider yourself smarter than I was. Here's your warning: these people falsely advertise their services. When you contact their "customer support" (ha) to find out why you didn't get the services as promised, they offer some bizarre excuses and tell you "We'll make up the difference on your next order". What a scam. Furious, I tried to transfer my domains out. After a week's delay (even though their terms state that they will approve transfers within 72 hours), I got a bizarre email from them asking me why I'm transfering out. I gave them a piece of my mind, which was a mistake. Now they're refusing to release my domains AND refusing to communicate with me. All is lost, my domains, my money and my faith in humanity. STAY. AWAY. FROM. THESE THIEVES.

NO | I have to agree with everything the other reviewer (Josh) said. However, I do have my web site hosted by them as well. The email is exactly as he described. But my experience is worse. When people email to my domain email, they get a failure notice, even though I am getting their mail. I have complained for over a year to MyDomain about this. They will fix the problem, but within a month, it will start again.
I also find their control panel difficult to use, and they set your userid and passwords - which are difficult to memorize. I like the freedom and flexibility of setting my own codes.
When I complained to them the last time about my email situation and the problems it has caused me professionally, I threatened to leave them if the problem wasn't fixed. I got a canned response about how to discontinue service. That tells me a lot about how much they respect customers who have been with them for several years and have never been late on payment.
Avoid MyDomain.

NO | I have not used MyDomain for hosting, but to forward my domain name URL to my website (currently hosted for free on my university's servers). The forwarding feature works as expected.
It is the e-mail service with MyDomain that I am most displeased with. My e-mail account is down on a regular basis (at least once every few weeks). It is usually down anywhere from half a day to several days. Their customer service varies - sometimes they respond within 24 hours, sometimes several days, but usually just to tell me that it's being looked into, and sorry for the inconvenience.
Also, when my e-mail IS working, the webmail feature is horribly slow ALL the time. After entering my username and password I usually have to wait 30 seconds to several minutes for it to login. Usually when I use webmail I will click "Login" and then open another window to surf while I wait for my email to show up. It's that bad.
It is the same while browsing/composing messages. Very slow.
MyDomain's prices are cheap - but in this case you definitely get what you pay for.
I am fed up with MyDomain and DO NOT recommend them. There are much better services out there. I am currently looking around for another company to transfer to.
