Sure. 99.9% - 100% uptime for all servers on any given month over the past I don't know how many years and the servers are buggy. Just because 1 person has an issue on 1 server does not mean that "their servers" are buggy. It could be the client's computer (e.g., firewall or AntiVirus) . It could be due to their ISP blocking outbound email
(for which there are alternate methods provided - 5 alternate ports to be used specifically, and this is clearly documented in their Knowledge Base and has been for quite some time). It could be due to the path the customer's Internet traffic takes
to the server. Or, it could be the server itself. They have expert knowledge about their servers. You have nothing more than an expert assumption.

Sure. 99.9% - 100% uptime for all servers (shared hosting, VDS, dedicateds, etc) month after month and things surely must be broken all over the place :> I won't even go into their typical less than 10 minute response times on tickets, with resolution.

In business thus far from Dec 2000 (started out as Security Minded Technologies) to June 2007 with numerous happy customers and many positive reviews found on WebHostingTalk, on Google, etc and surely they have not a clue in the world about how to maintain a solid webhosting company. Their public CentOS / qmail / Apache / ClamAV / etc mirrors surely must be run by purely incompetent folks. Their employees have discovered and disclosed multiple security vulnerabilities in major hosting software such as cPanel, CSF, SIM, and others. However, they clearly have no idea what they are doing as you state.

This is also incorrect. You filled out the "Cancel Account" form as they requested of you, chose "immediately" from the field labeled "Cancellation Date". No one had any knowledge of anyone transferring their sites when the account was cancelled (if that's
even true, given the lies about "namecalling" and the lies about responding by immediately cancelling your accounts).

How long ago were you guys customers? 1 - 2 years ago? And you both still feel the need to propagate misinformation on the Internet about someone who you felt did you wrong. "Jason" might not be your "client", but you guys are friends and decided to tag team a negative review about a company that has many highly positive reviews. Your claims of buggy servers and incompetence, along with your libel and other gross inaccuracies, are very transparent in my opinion. You are (still, after 1 - 2 years now)
2 disgruntled ex-customers (as well as friends). I'm sorry you haven't moved on, and still carry the weight of so much negativity.

Hi - my name is Jason Gold - I've said some pretty nasty things about Myriad Network and for that I apologize. The issue all started when I called up after a long day at work and was rude with one of the guys at Myriad about a billing issue. I thought I had cancelled the account but evidenitally I hadnt and I was still being charged for it. Once I explained the situation they straightended everything out. I was pretty pi$$ed they charged me for that extra month of webhosting but I guess it was my fault.

Be warned about this company, read around about them. They will delete accounts if htey dont like you. Doesnt mater how many accounts you may have hosted with them either. Delete reseller accoutns with hundred of domains at the drop of a hat. Run by two guys. Not really a big company. Tick them off and they will delte your accounts. Mass problems with others about this behavoiur across the net. There like little kids

The reviews above this one are fabricated and not based on fact. Just remember that for every x number of customers, there are bound to be a handful that are not happy for whatever reason. The happy ones rarely say anything publicly about how good their service is, while the angry ones propagate lies on the Internet because they are cowards.
I have been with Myriad Network for about 2 years now and couldn't be happier. The guy complaining that his account was cancelled before he had a chance to move his accounts submitted a cancellation request stating his account was to be cancelled SAME DAY. Why didn't he pick the FOLLOWING DAY from the form if he was in the middle of account transfers? Stupidity knows no boundaries (nor does alcoholism, does it David?)
Also, complaining about not getting a refund? It is, and has been for years now, written in plain English on their website what the cancellation policy is per the TOS. Been a customer longer than 30 days? No refund. Try reading the TOS next time David.
I'm not even going to get into MyriadNetwork staff calling people idiots or assholes, because that has never happened, period.
To jason@jmbworld.com - (aka Jason Gold, David's friend), if their servers are so stable and buggy, how do they manage 230+ day uptimes on their VDS servers, only rebooting for required security upgrades? The same goes for their shared hosting servers.
Incompetent? I think you need to reassess your ability to perceive correctly. 6 years in the hosting industry doesn't happen due to incompetence. You know nothing about who runs Myriad Network, nor how it is run.

I had numerous issues with their support. I sent them an e-mail saying I was having some problems with my account. They responded rudely claiming that it was a problem on my end. They told me that I should find another host. (more on this later) The issue was never fixed.
Furthermore, I set up a number of my clients with them. One of my clients called Myriad Network for a problem related to e-mail. Myriad Network responded by calling my client an "idiot" for paying $15 a month for hosting, and then called him an ***hole.
After these two incidents I wanted to discontinue all my accounts with them. I told them to 'NOT RENEW' my accounts, they responded by immediately canceling all accounts, before I was 100% done transferring the websites over. I was 1 month into a 3 month billing period, because of this I asked for a refund, which of course was denied.
Used 'Smart Source' shared plans
DO NOT HOST WITH THEM. THEY SAY SO THEMSELVES, THEY DO NOT WANT YOUR BUSINESS!

Myriad networks sucks, I will warn you and try to save you some trouble. There servers are buggy, the staff is incompetent and rude, they never want to fix anything and when they do try they ussually cant. But mostly you will see that they are very rude especially when you inform them about something that is wrong on there servers, they look for any an all ways to get out of fixing it, they will lie to you and insult you. The owner is the worst. Its run by a couple guys that cal themselves, CEO, SCO etc so basicly a few friends who run this thing, and they have no idea what they are doing.
