Website down for at least 48 hrs every mth. Already encountered problem after 2 weeks of sign up. Requested for refund, they promised to get someone from billing dept to contact me. But it never did happened.
The online support quoted "If the refund is not processed, it may mean that the account is not eligible for refund". question to them, how can they process a refund when they do not even bother to contact the subscriber?

Confirmed today that this IS globat, same people and everything points to the globat mentality. Take all the negative you can find on techhosting.com and add it to the negative you find about globat and you get the expectations of crooks at the helm. I worked for them for 2 years and I can say without any hesitation this is the worst hosting company on the web. I compare them to EarthLink and HostPro (now web.com) where I managed the quality and support and trust me, these guys care about nothing but how many people they can squeeze on a server and how low an overhead they can spend on keeping things going right. Any positive you read is them using aliases or customers promised something big in return, not a real review. My own company, yourdomaine.com, runs circles around these guys.

Support is terrible - no "live support" and they ignore email requests and support tickets. They used to say 24/7 support, now downgraded to 12/7 support and 24 hour email requests. Doesn't make much difference anyways. I have only been with them a couple months but tickets don't get closed. I would never put any important domain on a host like this.

I agree with Vijay. I hosted my simple one page blog with TechHosting and my site was never up for 24 hours continuously. Within 4 days I moved my blog to WordPress. I requested for cancellation of my account asked for the full refund of my money. They charged around $30 for the expense. They are cheater and they are making money/running the show with the account cancellation charges. You will repent a lot later if you host your site with these f-----s. Read all the reviews about this host in web if you need more information.

I hosted my site with Tech Hosting 3 days ago and my site is down for almost every day for 2 to 10 hours. I have sent emails for cancellation of my account. Still I have not received any response from them and they are delaying to refund my amount. They have created my domain one day after the payment and that too I had to call them and informed about this.
Do not waste your time with this host. I recommend you to host with yahoo, even if it expensive, at least their servers are up most of the time.
