Once I paid for the second year of my personal business site, I suffered downtimes of OVER 40%! Support ticket was closed because the site was up at the time they looked at it, sent another ticket when I lost sales, closed that ticket since the issue was “duplicate”, phone support told me to submit more support tickets which were getting closed and THEN, when I went to the SUPPORT forums to ask where to find info to talk to a REAL person since no one was helping me, my post was deleted, as were the other posts asking about problems with my particular server (which it asks of you). I was banned from the forums for “complaining” and told to open yet another ticket which is STILL unanswered! While I just went to my site again and it was down for over another hour. They have an unsatisfactory record with the BBB with some complaints they completely ignored!

For $7.95 a month, this is a rip off.

I am writing with reference to the post I made about Vodahost 2 days ago.

Brad Costello - the CEO of Vodahost called me today and fully explained what had happened. Errors of this sort are bound to happen from time to time with an organisation the size of Vodahost. They were quick to reverse the error and refund the $19.95 that was taken. However, because I am in the UK the initial amount refunded did not match what was taken. This was due to fluctuations in the exchange rate and nothing to do with Vodahost.

I repeat what I said in my earlier post, I have been with them for over 2 years now and although I was a complete novice at the start - I have always found the answers I have needed. After nearly a year of inactivity - I am almost ready to launch my website. I did not use BlueVoda choosing instead to use Dreamweaver which was something I had already dabbled with and liked, but I am not a designer and decided to take advantage of a ready made template site, which can be purchased at a very reasonable price. They have many hundreds of these Templates and there is bound to be one that suits almost any website. Although they looked complicated to edit at first (Mine is a flash site) I was extremely impressed by their dedicated template Support team. To give an example - I needed to edit a flash header and a flash menu - despite trying on my own for several hours I got nowhere. I raised a support ticket asking for help and a couple of hours later I had received a reply. I was expecting a few pointers and written instructions - but imagine my surprise when instead I received a step by step video tutorial (made using my template) to show me how to proceed. This kind of support was way above anything that I had imagined and I can highly recommend looking at Vodahosts Templates. Stay well away from this company and DO NOT repeat DO NOT entrust them with your card detail's. If you want to pay them anything use Paypal. If I were you, if they already have your card details - then request that they remove those details from their servers immediately. They CANNOT be trusted with them.

I was relatively happy with this company and was particularly impressed with their template support team, but I'm afraid thats as far as it goes.

I suddenly noticed that I had been invoiced for $19.95. I raised a ticket and asked what for? this was the reply:

This appears to be for a domain name registration for: eleni55.net Thank you, Brad

Trouble is - this had nothing to do with me - so I questioned it again. telling them I took a very dim view of companies who took unauthorised payments from my credit card.

They replied with this:

Apparently this was done by someone training a new employee, they forgot to
delete the invoice and it auto-batched. The payment has refunded. Thank you, Brad

Obviously I was concerned that my 'live' account was being used to train people on and that my card details had been used incorrectly and asked for an explanation.

So far - no apology, no explanation but they did send me this:

we have not mis-used your details in any way...You are just a bit confused and paranoid.

Hmmmm - am I?? I am certainly not confused that they took a payment from my account without my authorisation for something that had nothing to do with me.

Added to that - they still have not FULLY refunded the money they took. I have told them that I would publicise this as widely as possible and contact the relevant authorities and they sent me this:

1) Dont threaten us, we dont scare.
2) You where refunded on 2008/02/20

I repeat - they have not fully refunded me. They only refunded part of it.

Hope this goes as a warning to others. There are other hosting companies out their who will treat you better than this and who are trustworthy also.

I am so angry about this that I am now creating a website so I can post the entire dialogue and allow others to give their feedback about them too.

Two of my biggest pet-peaves with host companies is anything that is not user-friendly and also bait and switch tricks that are so prevalent, even with established companies. Therefore, I like them for these reasons, so far. Most importantly, its control panel is very easy to negotiate. I find that everything is logically laid out and user friendly. That's important and I appreciate that every time I use their c-panel. As for Point Two, I once used a host who's uploading software did not work with my Frontpage software, even though their site advertised that they supported Frontpage. (Which was why I chose them.) Their solution. Download this here program which you can then use to upload your site with. I did and the program worked great and was easy to use. The only problem was that it belonged to a third party who was only going to let me use it for 30 days and then I had to buy it. Bait and switch. If memory serves that program's two folder layout and performance was almost exactly like the one voda employs for free. I also consider the price for additional domain name purchases to be a bargain and I have read that being able to park add-on domains with one's principal domain for free is a rare bonus among host companies.

All and all, I have not had any problems with them No bait and switch tricks. No confusing control panel issues. They're all right in my book and I would definitely recommend them.

Great Service

I am still working on improving the functionality and appearance of my site at printsetters.com, but Vodahost has been a godsend. The Soholaunch programme has enabled me to save several thousand pounds on having a similar site professionally produced, and i have done it without writing a single line of HTML.

The support ticket system is fantastic with every little problem I have had solved quickly.

The hosting deal is about half the price of hosting in the UK.

The software is cantly updated and improved and is probably the best on the market - yet it is free!!

I am so excited to finally have a website Before Voda Host, I could hardly turn a computer on, let alone purchase something of the internet, so I was a bit apprehensive at first. I never though I of all people would be able to own a website.

It was just so easy though. I registered the account in just a few minutes and started building my site that evening!! Voda Host were great. They sent me everything I needed to start building my site. They have excellent step by step instructions on anything I needed to know. Their online video tutorials actually show you, click by click how to create anything for your site.

I now have my very own website, on the internet. I even have a personalized email account for my site and my staff. The best part was it was as fun as it was easy. The forum people are great fun and the technical support centre staffs were keen to help me get online as quickly and smoothly as possible.
I will no doubt be adding more sites to my account.

I got vodahost back when their servers were fresh, support was a little less feisty, and the TOS did not require you to pay a yearly subscription even if you did not ask them to.

Since then alot has changed, Customer Service has gone down the drain, linking me to sites with profanities such as "a-hole" and "bitch" and "fucking," which are all aimed at the reader. These sites also contain very concerning phrases such as "break your legs" and "piece of shit." I am sorry to have to share such words with you.

Their support also takes several days to reply to questions in their independantly run (meaning that no externalities are involved) support database. It is very well to run your own database for support, providing you do not abuse it. Please reply to customers questions! And if you do so, do so APPROPRIATELY.

Their "TOS" or Terms of Service are very vague, offer the breaking of the contract with 7-days notice (or that was how short it was when I last looked,) and the inability to break the contract yourself without requesting "permission" to do so.

Their features are offered, yay fantastico, yay mysql, yay PHPBB, and yay CPanel. Why won't these run at suitable speeds? Oh the processor is red-lining 24/7 - that explains my customers distress. Sure they have good software, but the hardware is over used - Vodahost over-host. I also have not yet received my 300gb data transfer rate or my ever changing storage limit, which was said to be 200GB when I arrived, and has gradually fluctuated down to 50GB, while my account has never allowed consumption of more than 15GB despite several requests at the Help Desk.

If one posts a slightly concerning post in their forum, eg. the fact that their server CPU status is critical and PHP won't run, the person involved in the posting gets a minimum of a 20-year ban, plus a free phone call, thats right, one that they would not give you prior to now, even on request. The phone call may contain some fowl language, be sure to listen to it without children in the house.

I have been charged for a further years hosting much to my disgression, Please, PLEASE if you do want to use them, sign up for a month, then if you don't notice any problems sign up for a year, but when signing up, PAY BY CASH! They WILL use your credit card details if your request is not "within a suitable time" of your next billing period. For me this was 23 days, which I would concider enough days warning for any annual cancellation.

So of you go to them, watch out. Stay agile, and Read the TOS for any changes, keep a hard copy of it from when you sign up, and DON'T LOSE IT.

If you leave with anything from this review, leave with my information. You are free to sign up to vodahost and try them out, but their 100% guarantee comes with not refund, and their 30 day trial "was never available" even though it said all over their website for several months after my sign up. BE CAREFUL

I just wanted to Thank Bluevoda and Vodahost! I had tried SEVERAL other web building and hosting sites and was so disappointed. I was about to give up on opening a online store, then I stumbled onto Bluevoda and Vodahost. I was skeptical after all the other sites I had tried, so I spent a few months just playing with the Bluevoda site building software, and was really impressed with the web building software. So I decided to give Vodahost a try....I have never been disapointed! It has been a great experience! I had a computer crash and lost everything and wanted to start my site new, and they were there and within minutes they had taken care of my request. I love the customer forum where you can find support too. Support, Service....5 Stars! Thanks so much! Did I also mention affordable? You can not go wrong with Bluevoda and Vodahost!

On $95 a year plan.

Although there 'easy to use' web building tools have been highly criticised - it has to be said their BlueVoda website builder is good when you get to now how to use it. But on this note, it is not so 'easy to use'. Although no PC language or coding is required to build a website with this feature, it does rely heavily on the users ability to use desktop publishing software, which VodaHost seem to presume that everyone knows how to operate.

There prices are quite resonable and their other features and PHP packages are terrific and after practice most of their features do become easier to use. However this does not rid them of the fact that they used false advertising, for beginners their software is NOT easy to use.

Their technical team seems to consist of only of a few people. They are often inexperienced and provide little technical assistance when you have a problem - almost as if they copy and paste their replies to your problems from a book. Quite often they respond to your problems abruptly and often rudely.

Although overall there service is satisfactory there are a few important facts I'd like to point out:

1) They often have a lot of downtime.

2) Their features are not always easy to use.

3) Their staff are rude when responding to quiries.

PAY ATTENTION!!!:
4) Throughout forums such as this, I have seen users (from VodaHost) giving a tip-top review about their services after every bad one. Check it out for yourself. And even worse, when a review particularly annoys them, the will make up some slandarous claim about the author, often saying that they are pulling off some illegal scan.

I trust my money with Voda Host but only because I'm in too deep to pull out now. If you join up - just watch things carefulluy.

I have been working withVodahost for the last 5 months. The website builder is absolutly fantastic. I built up my site (11 html pages) in about one week.
I found the support very useful. I still have some problems when trying to publish my pages, but I think that the problem is my connection to internet (during the day it becomes too busy thus slowing down and stoppi ng the connection).
I am satisfied with Vodahost.

A few weeks ago I was a complete know nothing… been struggling with using Dreamweaver; took the easy way out with templates and free websites… then I found Voda and can’t believe how easy it is to create and design something that I actually like without paying out thousands of dollars…

Owned a couple of .com.au domain names for a while and found web hosting was just so expensive here in Australia… very little offered in return for big money… then I found them along with their website builder and my world turned upside down in joy… here was the solution for me… even my boss who is webmaster of quite a few sites cannot believe what I have created and their deals on offer…

Not only did I find all this I found their Forum… what a fantastic community of people they all are… without you things would have been a lot harder… not that it was hard at all…

And the support team… absolutely fantastic in helping me organise my .com.au names for use here… then I crashed and burned… literally… two weeks with the pc doctor and the lesson to learn was back up everything… but the support team came to my rescue again and resent my login details as they got burnt in my computer’s fallout… and here we are again…

I am so grateful to have found them… and now I can do most of it all for myself with the help and support of everyone… true independence…

Each time I've contacted them for assistance regardless of the hour of the day, the representative has gone above their call of duty and provided wonderful customer service to ensure my needs are met not just as a customer but as an entrepreneur.

The level of assistance is wonderful. Their Customer Service is comparable to being the 'On-Star for the Web'. They have helped me out of many a challenge when my paid web-master has fallen short or my financial resources. Truly they have an awesome Costumer Support Group.

Voda promised "fanatical" support and customer "love" and care, affiliate "commissions", "reliable" hosting and at lest some "workable" web site managment interfaces and even a site builder.

In two years of my experience they did nothing of this kind.

What did they do in this writer's experience ?

1. NO SUPPORT. Their support is some sort of Nazi bunch of kapos who shout at you that you don't understand this and that, or pretending your English is no good for their staff. They didn't solve any issue for us in the period as reviewed.

2. NO COMMISSION. Their clocks register just-below-the-threshold affiliate traffic, and when they have to pay the 150 usd, the counter dies suddenly, and no matter how many of your affiliates pass through you, you are sure that you won't see the commission. When you demonstrate this fact to their personnel, they panic, they would call you on your mobile phone and start telling lies that even them find hard to believe. It's all on record.

3. NO RELIABLE UPTIME I have a log of downtime for my two sites. It's incredible how much off line their servers really "serve". They just keep rebooting them for "maintenance". Support will only tell you one thing, DON'T OPEN MORE TICKETS.

4. NO MEANS TO MEND THINGS, BY DESIGN. As for the interface. They change the root servers without noticing you, so that you find yourself offline when your own customers start complaining. Then they send you some arcane procedure for you to log, using three different passwords, only to "update" something here and there. In the meantime they keep you offline for days.

5. NO MEANS TO GET REFUNDS, BY DESIGN. OK, so how do you get rid of their "services" ? You can't. They remind you that your "billing cycle" expires in three years, so they keep your money while you get your site to some web host you can trust.

Welcome to the wonderful Voda hosting empire. They got what it takes to take what you've got :-)

I am on my 2nd year with Blue Voda/Voda Host. I really love the website builder, forum help, unlimited domain feature. HOWEVER.... with that said...
I am very disappointed with their Affiliate Program...thus far.
The Reason.....
I signed up an affiliate through my website affiliate link with no problem. I even used my credit card...no problem. Got a confirmation about the new signup...no problem.
The problem is I didn't get credit for the new affiliate signup. I have furnished all the information to the Affiliate support department over a week ago. Today I sent a 2nd request for a response.
I need to either remove all affiliate links to Voda Host or get this resolved. If it isn't resolved then there's a trust issue on if affiliates are getting paid on the up and up.

The results depend on if I move on to another web host. Problem is I used their Blue Voda website builder. I understand it's a version of NetObject's True Fusion website builder. Can anyone confirm?

Also I will repost the outcome on the site later.

I wish I read this board before I signed up with them. By far the most unethical company I have ever seen. The posts about not responding the emails, or tickets until 3 days later, not answering to calls, gestapo tactics in their board, no response whatsoever are exactly right.

Took them THREE days to send me my login information and when they did they condecendingly stated that it was sent right away to the email I provided (Really?)

Put a request to transfer my which during pre-sales they stated "Yes, we can accomodate your requirements without any issues".

And after 3 days of continuous emails, they replied "There will be a $30 fee to do this, if you wish to proceed please visit the below then get back to us when you have paid:

I then requested my refund and have not heard from then since other that there replied to paypal disputing their money back guaranteed.

I have a dispute through paypal to get my money back. They refuse any kind of contact. Reply short answers to messages and ignore the real requests. If you don't believe me call their number 1-302-283-3777 and see if you can talk to someone. Won't happen.

The website is full of empty promises. For those who claim excellent service, I challenge you to contact me to discuss. Notice on this post that some of the positive reviews don't even have emails. It is probably VODAHOST themselves posting. As someone else mentioned, I doubt there is more than one person running the out named Ryan, Laura, Brad or whoever. If this guy was in the military, I wish I would have served with him. Stay away from this company. I am out $95.40. Don't do the same.

I have been with voda for just over 3 years, I am a web designer and have about 60 customers. I do everything from setting up e-mail, hosting, designing - you name it. I use them for all my customers because they are very reliable and have the best prices out there. My reputation has grown to be great mainly because of them. If it wasn't for them, my company would be in trouble. All the websites I have with them run very smoothly and the technology at voda is the best. My business relies on their performance and continues to grow due to their wonderful work.

I have absolutely no idea how you can find any fault with them, they are wonderful. I just spend two horrid years at Godaddy. In the three months since I received my account, they have added a further 5 servers to their arsenal. This is testimony to their dedication to provide a top quality service, as they become the host of choice to more and more people. The combination of their support desk and their Forum allow users like myself, with little to no previous website design knowledge a perfect platform to launch, develop and grow our websites. These guy are are great.

This company is UNREAL! If you want support, forget the phone, forget online support and forget the "generals" in the forum help area since they are all link pasters with absolutely no knowledge whatsoever. They are rude and UNREACHABLE&USELESS.

Today 10-10-07 my 2 remaining sites were down so I had to sumbit a ticket. YOU CANNOT CALL THESE PEOPLE. 2 hrs later I received and email from tech support that I would be up in 15 minutes at the latest. Well, 11 hrs later here's what I got from VODAHOST.

A Very Happy Customer

I needed to change my web hosting service. I also have several clients that will be needing web hosting services in the near future. I made the decision to research the ideal company for my needs and my clients needs. Using the Internet I checked on many hosting services, looking closely at the ratings by current and former users.

My investigation led me to Voda. All of my research showed that they offered the options that I needed at an affordable price. Everyone, including their website, said that they offered exceptional service and support. I made my decision and began the task of setting up my new hosting service with the options that I needed. I also began transferring my current business website and two recreational websites over to the new service. Because I didn't plan it better, I made some mistakes that caused problems with my service. Frustrated, I began communicating with there support staff via their support ticket email service. What I found was surprising. Not only did there staff offer fast response time, but they truly knew what they were doing and could assist me in solving my problems. The problems weren't easy, and my lack of experience in using a web hosting service didn't help things, but your staff worked through it and within a short period of time they had everything running smoothly.

They were also able to direct me to several well designed tutorials that detailed the tasks I was working with. The tutorials are done in simple, easy to understand language, and yet contained all of the information that I needed to get the job done. In short, there company and there staff have made a believer out of me. I have over 25 years working in the micro computer industry.

I have dealt with many different companies, trying to solve many different problems. This one rates at the top of my list for a satisfying experience. Thanks for making this transition so easy!

Very helpful and friendly people, I have been looking for something like this for a long time. Everything about this entire experience is fabulous. I'm new to the Webworld and never in my life would have thought I could build a website. I consider myself a technically challeged person and artistically not even close to drawing credible stick men but the Blue Voda webuilder has made me feel like a genius and the help and kindness of the member ans staff of the Voda Host Forum has raised my level of knowledge.

The Forum is one of the greatest assets of Voda Host, which by itself is already an incredible bargain. Upon searching the web I had tried a few other free webbuilders but BV was the only one that I found that really was created with the novice in mind. Kudos to them for a job well done. THey have a lively forum and a great support team that makes it easy to go about making a great site in very little time.

To those seeking a free webuilder and a great hosting service I recommend BV & VH as the best of the best. Try it yourself...it's worth the time.

Simply Put -- Read all the Negative Posts -- All that was said there has happened to me.

I Asked question about their services and they removed my post. They the "Generals" don't even know what products they offer. After questioning why they only used PHP4.4 and not 5.xx I got a response that 4.4 was the most stable -- well OK - but after you sign up you find out it's version 5.16. I paid a $30.oo Set up Fee. but after joining and getting my Welcome letter I find out I have to Configure my DNS. I don't know about you but when I have to Configure some thing it usually means setting something up!!! The last thing is that I paid for a dedicated IP address and it came up as shared. After 5 days, they finally without notice take down my site and make the changes.

My second post was a general question about using a easy and nice download program. The "General" responded with a Sarcastic response.

3rd post I was just as Sarcastic has he was (I should have been Nasty). I even mentioned that you pulled my first post and will probably pull this one. Well they pulled it and Banned me Forever.

Imagine that a Paying Customer looking for Support!!!!!!

I am Claiming a Record -- In less that 5 days and 3 Posts I was Banned, lol, anyone breaking my record, please let me know.

Summary

If your a woman you will probably like it. I should have signed up as Judy.

Don't question anything they do wrong at least in the Forums or you will get banned.

What they advertise is not really what you get -- again don't question them on this or you might get banned.

Ok, this is the best it gets I have to say! I'm an administrative assistant, and although I know quite a bit about computers and programs - I don't do this kind of thing all the time. I was asked to create a website for my boss and his business. I took on the task only because I knew that I could DO it with this website and program here!! I was a little "scared" at first, but in building my website - I learned that ONLY BlueVoda could make it this easy!!

I've looked at other programs, and other templates and tutorials, and NONE OF THEM COMPARE to this one. There's NO WAY I could have done this alone, and there's NO WAY I could have done this without BlueVoda here. This is the best program/website/software that I've seen OR used out there, and it's SO GREAT FOR THE PRICE!! UNBELIEVABLE.

If I ever use something OTHER than this place, it will be because BlueVoda has shut down and no other reason. I've recommended this site and program to my friends / family to use, they said they've never seen anything like it and don't know where I found this website, but they are ALL very pleased at the ease of use and the people that are here to help you every step of the way, day or night!! It's the EASIEST website builder and even my friend that has NO COMPUTER EXPERIENCE has built her AWESOME website using BlueVoda and it only took her ONE WEEK!!

At first when I started my travel business I thought just having a freebie site was good enough. Although I worked very hard on the site, it just didn't look professional enough and I was limited on how I wanted it to look. So my search began for the right web hoster. Seems like when the question came up for "whats the best webhosting company" most choose the same company but to me it was so hard for me to weed through all the features and if you wanted more features you had to pay more money. Then came BlueVoda and Vodahost.

What a breath of fresh air. I downloaded the free builder...so impressive...easy to use....I could build my site the way I wanted it to be. Then the webhosting...so many features...no hidden cost....so affordable. Then the support...great community forum...a place where no question is too dumb....kind, knowledgable people to help all hours of the day and night. What more could one ask for (well, maybe a glass of wine and crackers, but that might be pushing it), lol.

Vodahost you have a satisfied customer for life (or as long as I can pay my bill) whichever one comes first. No joke, I am so glad that I stumbled upon BlueVoda and also equally happy that I choose Vodahost to host my site.

Be very wary of BlueVoda. I was drawn in by the advanced videos and Self-Boasting support team. After using their software and forums I am under the impression that they are nothing but a self-promoting dictatorship. They follow their own rules and are strictly forbode of any discussion regarding other software or help issues.

The mere fact of their self-imposed 'Military' ranking should give you some idea of how highly they think of themselves. Don't get me wrong, there are some VERY intelligent people on this site. And if your support question helps them in any way, they MIGHT help you.

Females beware!

I have looked heavily at the threads on the forums, and it is pretty apparent who gets priorities in responses. Also note that the membership catagory has been blocked out. Hmmm. Too many unpopular Generals????

Also, they have closed thier chat rooms due to 'abuse'. I suspect the abuse issues lie in the fact that not everyone in the discussion rooms is totally thrilled with BV or VH. Think about it. As knowledgeable as the people running the forums are, you would think they would have an option to BLOCK abusive members from the chat rooms. Like any good dictatorship, they not only have the ability, but also USE sensorship in the forums. Don't take my word for it. Try and mention a site or forum that they don't have their hand in.

Not to give doubt, their software (with some learning on the user's part) can be very adaptable, and I have witnessed some very advanced websites that were 'supposedly' built using BlueVoda and VodaHost. However, if you look into the thread that lists sites built by BV and using VH, and actually LOGON to one of those sites, their quality is less than anything I would want to visit again.


I agree that they portray a wonderful friendly and family atmospher, but please, spend some time with it before you fork out any money.

I love VodaHost! Great value for the money, lots of bells & whistles, everything you need to build a great site. Lots of help, easy to use, lots of space. I told my sister about it, she tried the bluevoda website builder, fell in love with the program and bought VodaHost as well. I forgot to put in my coupon code to get my free domain name, they refunded my money back instantly. When I needed help, they were there for me. I have nothing bad to say about VodaHost. My advice, try it, you will like it.

Vodas customer support is fabulous, I had a Joomla script which had a insecure 777 permission which came close to causing me all sorts of troubles. Laura Dunkin spent an hour fixing and patching up my Joomla and did not charge me a penny. Double Kudos to Voda. More sites are on the way! Don’t listen to the disgruntled morons below, I went through two years of hell at Godaddy, trust me when I say.Voda is the only way to go.

I have been with them for just over 6 months, 2 sites hosted, I am very happy, excellent products and customer service, they also have a wonderful support forum. They have very successfully and cleverly cultivated a family atmosphere on their forum that draws you in and makes you feel very welcome. I think I will stay here for a while.

I refer to my request for technical support re Ticket ID: ANF-603425. I found the "department supervisor" to be most unhelpful in trying to achieve my objective. His response was sarcastic and despite his title I'm beginning to feel that his technical expertise is limited.

They will have to do better than this, especially when their other site bluevoda is promoted as a DIY site.

a bad customer service department. No telephone support. unable to comply with customer request to terminate account regardless of any lack of refund needed. not a savey much of CS nerds. if you want a training wheel bicycle ride then go for it.

I found the sales speel did not match reality - "easy to use" and "no programming knowledge needed" is simply not true. When I pointed this out to them, they took pains to point out to me that their Terms of Service contradicted their sales speel.

The support documentation is contradictory. Once can only try the software once signed up - which is when one finds the flaws. Many support docs are incorrect, and I spent days trying to configure the basics. Easy to use it is not. Customer support was slow. You only find this out once you've paid.

In my opinion, avoid.

ave only recently moved onto the servers, but wow! I'm flat out amazed!

Previous Host Provider: Yahoo! Business

Let's do some comparing. On Yahoo! I was paying $19.95 for cgi scripting, what a rip. Half of the scripts I tried to run wouldn't work because only a few Perl modules were available. Geezz... Yahoo! gives you Sitebuilder with their package. Another rip. Try working on more than 2 or 3 pages at a time with this utility, and your computer will give you a big thud as it crashes and freezes. There are so many bugs with this program that it's just sickening. I ended up having to buy a 3rd party website builder. Let's see what else.... Oh yes, TECH SUPPORT! or lack there of! Put in a ticket, and you're guranteed to wait more than 48 hrs for a reply. They do have a customer support number, however I've never had the patience to talk to anyone. I waited on hold for 2 hours one time before finally giving up.

First Impressions of VodaHost: "Too Good To Be True"
I've tried a couple of other Website servers out there that charge under $10/month. With these servers you get minimal features, and in most cases need a college degree in computers to figure out what directory you're supposed to put your website material. No Thanks! With VodaHost I was completely surprised at what I got for my money! The array of scripts offered with cPanel is amazing, not to mention cPanel's ease of use. And if that weren't enough, they throw in the free website builder BVoda. Wow, is this thing good or what?! I completely re-done my entire 20 page website in about an hour! Completely unheard-of with SiteBuilder. Now we get to the real test: Speed! I was blown away when I transferred my forum files via FTP to Voda Servers! It took about an hour to download the files off of my Yahoo! servers, and it took less than 15 minutes to upload to Voda!! WOW! Then when I finally went checking my site out for broken links and whatnot, I was amazed at how fast everything was popping up! Of course the real question was the photo gallery, but everything just pops up so fast! It's almost like viewing a computer on my LAN!

Thanks again guys for this very nice service you are providing!! You've got my vote, and I promise you will be getting more business pushed from my way to yours!

a P.O. box address and gave a fake telephone number, if you do a whois search
on the above mentioned domain name you will see what I mean.

We have traced the FTP logs to the same IP address that the purchase was
made from. The below review is their attempt to go on the offensive and
through up a barrage of smoke to cover her tracks.

We still have kept copies of the fake "CHASE" bank HTML pages and have
notified CHASE about Miriam Grech.

Our Data Centers "The Planet" which is one of the largest and most respect
data enters in the United States if not the whole world will vouch for and verify
the phising and ftp logs from the below account.

To answer the below response, this is a bunch of lies and if anyone wants to trust this guy, go ahead but it's at your own risk. My phone number is not fake at all, although I have since moved house. It is vodahost who has a pretend phone number with an answering machine at the other end. I recommend anyone who thinks of using vodahost, try to contact them before, and see if you can manage to speak to a person. My mistake is that I did not do any research before. If I had I would have seen that many others had a bad experience before, and I even found one website that raised the question of whether this guy was a criminal. So please do your research. Where do I start, I guess at the begging. It all started in February when I was enticed with a free coupon from .net magazine in the UK, I visited the site and spent several hours going through it. I was a bit sceptical because I was raised to believe if it is too good to be true it usually is. So I downloaded there website builder and began my odyssey. Just to give you a bit of background I am travel agent of 20 years and pretty internet savy, but HTML, PHP etc… might as well be Chinese. I was attracted to there offer by there claim of no HTML to learn. So here is my review

a) You can not build your website in 30 minutes as advertised unless you are some type of web design guru. It took me 30 minutes just to read the tutorials. The design part is a consistent work in progress for me with constant updates and changes as and when the inspiration hits me. Saying that there blue site builder is very impressive and loaded with features.

b) There customer service and support is nothing short of excellent. I highly recommend that you visit there support forum and ask any question and it will be answered in minutes. They have some pretty loyal members that are extremely helpful

When you submit a support ticket it usually gets answered with in a couple hours, a bit slow
