Good, because you won't find any here. Instead, we'll tell you just the facts about us that will hopefully allow you to make an educated decision on whether WebHostingBuzz is the right choice for you.
WebHostingBuzz was started in 2002 by Safvan Malik, the current CEO. Our grass roots were a simple reseller account of another company started by Safvan in his spare time whilst at University studying Business Management. Fast forward 6 years and we're now a multi-national company hosting over 300,000 websites, hundreds of servers and provide hosting infrastructure to some of the most common destinations on the internet today.
However, since inception, some things remain:
* We're 100% privately held. We have no share holders other than ourselves to answer to. This means we spend the money where it matters - on WebHostingBuzz.
* We're debt free. No loans, no mortgages and cash flow positive. We've had plenty of acquisition offers and the answer has been a flat "NO" each time.

Choice of data center is paramount for any hosting company that wishes to continually deliver high performance and reliable hosting to their client base. | | Webhosting Buzz Revamps Reseller Plans - January 14, 2009 - The latest in a string of new reseller hosting plan announcements this week, US web host WebHostingBuzz.com (www.webhostingbuzz.com) has revamped its entire reseller hosting range to include even more features and quotas as well as lowering entry price points.
"Having started off from a reseller plan ourselves back in 2002, we're very in tune with the reseller hosting market," WebHostingBuzz.com chief executive officer Safvan Malik said in a statement. Providing services to over 50,000 websites, several thousand of which are resellers, Malik noted WebHostingBuzz.com has looked to its resellers to shape the new plans. "These plans are designed to offer customers the same opportunity that we have had and capitalized on and we work very hard to help our resellers succeed."
Starting at about $15 per month, WebHostingBuzz.com's new reseller hosting plans include cPanel, a 24/7 helpdesk with live chat support and telephone support during business hours. WebHostingBuzz.com also provides WHMAutopilot billing software, Fantastico, SSL certificates, and private name servers, all particularly important features for resellers. "Our offerings are an attractive proposition for those looking to start their own web hosting business with us, or simply consolidate all of their hosting into one account," Malik added.
Earlier in the week, the WHIR reported on UK reseller hosting provider Heart Internet (www.heartinternet.co.uk) adding Windows-based reseller hosting to its offerings, enabling resellers to manage both Windows and Linux platforms simultaneously. Offering Windows hosting opens up a large portion of the market, with more than 33 percent of all active sites running on Windows, according to Netcraft's November survey.
ResellerChoice also made a major announcement this week, giving hosts a chance to tap into the Windows IT Services hosting market by offering a white label IT hosting reseller program for complex services such as Hyper-V VPS Servers, Exchange Mail and SharePoint.

Mical ( admin(at)pertiound(dot)org ) | I am a beginner blogger, and came to webhostingbuzz while searching for a host to have a blog site. I have found the compny's offers attractive and after some forums conversations about them decided to go with.
Now, after some time I would like to share impressions with the company I am hosting with. The term is short, but really having whb as my hosting partner I am now able to concentrate on the writing instead of learning how to admin sites. The uptime has yet never been bad, i.e. no downtime, 24 hours, as I may see being online almost all the time.
The support assistance is also great. Being a beginner blogger, I know even less of site administration or creation, but tools WHB gives for these purposes could help to create a good site even a complete noob. All questions would be politely, clearly and quickly anhswered by the support team.
Well, hoping my first impression won't get spoiled after some time.
Until that time, think whb is the correct choisу for blog hosting.

Gary ( linx04(at)gmail(dot)com ) | I switched to this host from A Small Orange after I decided I needed a bigger package. ASO had never let me down but I was looking for a bigger package at a better price.
I did not really do my research (my own fault) but I was recommended to webhostingbuzz by another forum. My first site I set up from scratch at WHB, and it was smooth, no real problems to speak of.
15 days later I moved my one site to WHB. As expected it was set up instantly. I only knew there was a problem when I could not FTP. Come to find out the server WHB assigned me to had just overloaded and they were in the process of rebuilding the raid. After about 5 hours after I transferred my site, FTP was turned back on.
About three weeks later, the same server (which hosted both my sites) overloaded again and my sites were down. Once again, they attempted to fix it and had to rebuild the raid. Two days after that happened myself and other users of my sites could not get to them, as the server kept resetting the connection.
I opened a support ticket and WHB kept saying it was MY ISP. I informed them I tried my wireless ISP and my local library and ket getting the same issue. I also informed them that multiple users were having the same issue and I was PM'd on a totally different forum asking me what the issue was.
Support requested I run a series of commands from the cmd prompt, to which I did. I copied these results and pasted them into the e-mail. The first reply back from them after I sent them the information was they did not receive it. I sent it again, to which they replied it was my ISP and all was OK on their end.
I persisted and needless to say 7 replies later all with the required info they state they NEVER received the information in my e-mails to them. They even took a screen shot for me to see. However all my e-mails to them have that info.
Dennis said it was an issue with the server's firewall. I informed support of this and they still said it was MY ISP. I decided to switch hosts and went to a different host and low and behold I do not have the server timeout issue.
I requested a PRORATED refund as I paid for 3 months in advance. I have only hosted one site for 32 days, but they refuse saying they were being proactive in trying to help. If you saw my e-mails, they were not trying to be proactive.
If you are looking for a cheap host this is the place. If you are looking for reliability THIS IS NOT THE PLACE.

I was a bit worried when I first signed up because the prices were so incredibly low for the services they were offering, but after reading good reviews and feedbacks about this company I decided to try them.
This company does offer a good range of features, and from first impressions it appears good on bandwidth and disc space. They are always sending message about new and upgraded features they add to the standard packages.

My former hosting provider started to get on my nerves because of the downtime of my web sites, so I decided to change it to another, more stable, one and my friend recommended me webhostingbuzz.
During the time I have been dealing with them, server and network uptime is pretty great. Moreover, I have perfect technical support service and they are usually very quick to answer my questions and solve any problem. I haven't had a second thought or worry about my service since coming to Webhostingbuzz.
I should also mention that the price is really cheap for web hosting plans and I am also really happy with the availability of the features that I can simply install from cPanel control panel.
I highly recommend this host for anyone who wants an inexpensive, easy to user hosting provider.

I would give them 0 for customer support if I could. My server was down at least once a week for about 2-3 hours per week. The services are weak, and did I mention the customer support stunk?
After 14 months I am moving on. They also DO not offer unconditional 30 day money back in most cases.
There are many other web hosting companies out there that offer more for a comparable price.

The packages offered by Webhostingbuzz looked pretty good, so I decided to take a reseller package. That turned out to be a mistake.
The registration went ok, the welcome email contained errors in the urls for whm and cpanel, but these were easily corrected. After creating a few subaccounts, the sites were all very slow. And in whm I could see that the machine load was huge, and this was an 8 core/8GB machine so what was going on? They said all was fine and ignored my error reports. From time to time I got time outs, connection refused and even internal server errors! I'm not talking about very small php/mysql test sites that did almost nothing.
After submitting tickets and posting in their forums, all I got was the suggestion to upgrade to a virtual private server. They said the reason my sites were slow is because I was on a shared machine(!) Yes, that's why we call it reseller/shared hosting. Obviously Webhostingbuzz thinks that's a good reason for the unacceptable bad performance.
I waited two months, having nothing but time outs, slow sites, internal server errors, connection refused and submitting many tickets and forum posts but nothing was done about it. Webhostingbuzz was accepting the situation as it was. In the forums, there were several other resellers complaining as well with the same kind of errors as I had.
I left Webhostingbuzz and turned to Hostgator.com And what a difference! Those Hostgator people really eat the competition, 5 out of 5 for Hostgator. It's just that they don't offer the very small packages, but calculated per GB it's almost the same. Hostgator is the real reseller company for you.

Cheated Customer
( customer[at]bugmenot[dot]com ) | WHB requires that 90% of your used space be composed of files under 500kb. So practically no image galleries, audio files, video, etc.
Unless you just happen to have 10GB of HTML sitting around you can upload.
That's why they can offer 2TB of space and 20TB of bandwidth. You're not allowed to use it.
I recently received an e-mail from WHB that my account had been terminated because I was violating disk space usage, #11 on http://www.webhostingbuzz.com/?hosting-account-usage-policy.
I'm only using 18GB of the 2TB I purchased (http://www.webhostingbuzz.com/website-hosting.shtml?host_smashingmagazine-special)
Here's #11 in full.
Disk Usage Provision. 90% or more of your content on your website must be linked from an HTML or similarly coded web page where all content is freely available to the public. Your website consists of web pages of a standard design, essentially HTML based text and graphics. Downloadable files, media, streaming content or any file which consumes more than 500kb of space must not exceed 10% of your total used disk quota.

When I've started to build I site here are the problems:
1. for 2 weeks site down at leest 2,3 times a day
First they told mee that they have told me:
"We recently experienced some server overload issues, causing a slowdown. The source of this problem has been located and addressed. Server performance should now be back to normal."
OK I've told them.
After one week the problem was still there
They have told me:
"We unreservedly apologize for the service outage that you experienced. This is unlike us, we'd some hardware issue with server described on our forum"
What happend?

2. The problem that made my write this review.
I have a hosting of 200 GB and this morning (02.04.2008) when I've open my CP surprise
"Sorry for the inconvenience!
The filesystem mounted at /home/mysite on this server is running out of disk space. cPanel operations have been temporarily suspended to prevent something bad from happening. Please ask your system admin to remove any files not in use on that partition."
no worning nothig befor this happend!!!
how can i fill 200 GB this is crazy!!
i think "maybe my database (200 MB)" but how can I have access to my Databse if I don't have access t my control Panel

-anonymous- ( -no email- ) | These guys are pretty good for shared hosting if you do not care about everything working in the cpanels or up time. I have been with these guys for a long time now & I have had more then my fair share of problems with them which is why I am currently looking for a new host because I simply ask for a cpanel reset & instead they reset my password & when I ask why they didn't take the time to read what I had posted or they would have known I ask for a cpanel reset of the file directory then they deleted my account. I was fortunate enough to get hold of someone on the phone who was nice enough to get my account back up but I had paid in advance 2 years & after it was deleted it fowled up everything & ripped me a year of service & I lost all my content which left me to have to rebuild my site & my members where rather upset because all of their posts & content was gone & this really killed my traffic. On another note about 20% of the cpanel pre-installed content doesn't work & I have many times addressed this in the boards on their trouble ticket support. I think if someone where to ask me about a web host this would be the last host I would refer them to but if I were ask about 2 years ago things would be different as some where down the line they went from good to bad. I will not ever buy from these guys again & anyone who is smart unless you really just don't care about your content will steer clear of them also. As the saying goes you get what you pay for!
