Absolutely the worst and most pathetic hosting company in the world!!!!!
I thought I'll buy web hosting from an Indian company as I am Indian, but it turned out to be the worst decision of my life. These guys were very sweet and nice while signing me up and taking my money, but once the money was in their account, they sharted showing their true colours! Bad customer service, non-existent ticket handling, and downright rude phone operators. They don't even know how to talk to customers.
Here are a few points everyone should know about Znet India:
1) Their staff are not adequately trained. Their technical knowledge is POOR.
2) Their staff can't communicate in English.
3) Their ticket handling is HORRIBLY SLOW. It's like an Indian government office. Sir has gone for lunch, call back in 2 hours.
4) They do not support standard software such as CURL, Ioncube, etc. They are unable/unwilling to install it on the server at the customer's request.
5) You need to raise a ticket for simple tasks such as decompressing a zip file to a folder on the server.
6) Their phone operators are RUDE. They know you're in their hands once you've paid up your money. They can then behaev with you as they please.
7) THEIR OUTAGES ARE FREQUENT AND UNSCHEDULED. Your website will go down FOR HOURS at a time, without warning. One of my wites was down for 23 days. TWENTY-THREE DAYS!!! I should have checked everyday, but I was foolish enough to trust them.
8) Their hosting packages are more expensive, and yet give you less features than the packages provided by top-ranked American companies.
My advice: STAY AWAY FROM ZNET INDIA. Buy a hosting package from a reputed American company such as GoDaddy, HostGator, InMotion Hosting, Just Host, etc. You will be a million times happier.

Ankur Dutta ( -no email- ) | allaround pathetic service. I have my site hosted on Google sites and use CNAME method to call the site from my domain. I wanted my naked domain to be redirected to my www subdomain. A simple 301 redirect which is the least to be expected from a hosting company. Guess what? It doesn't work. I emailed their support team to help me fix it. Guess what, they removed all CNAME entries rendering my site useless. They then added 2 A type records. One forwarding my domain to the www sub domain. The second forwarding the www subdomain to the naked domain. This created a loop! Basis 101 for domain admins. Pathetic pathetic pathetic. I am going to transfer to GoDaddy as soon as the 60 day lock is over.

the ticket system will take atleast 1 day to go 1 step..if u have a problem it will take at least 5 days to get solved..that too while you're in a good luck phase..
no use calling over the phone...some receptionist will pick up..
severe probs with the software gallery...knowledge base is next to nil..
their technical staff is simply astounding..u ask something they answer something else..u write english..they write latin ;)
most of the time these staff guys will put the blame on you for creating some problems..they are right i must say..my bad..i created my biggest prob with my own hands when i invested in them in the first place..now obviously they can say 'hamse liya that ab bhoogto'..plz don't give give them that opportunity..
all in all..i am sorry i ever went for them..better spend the extra buck somewhere else and live with peace of mind..
ZDNET should sue them for creating the confusion..anyways good luck new victims..you have read this and have been thereby warned..if u go for that blackhole even after reading this then the blame for any problem is all yours.. :)

They will phone you endlessly while promoting something in the hope of extracting money out of you, but once they get the money they'll disappear. Typical sleazy attitude characteristic of Indian Marwaris/Baniyas.
Their prices are always higher than industry norms - Goadddy.com offers cheaper domain registration and hosting with much better features, reliability and support. Znet India is trying to capture the domestic market - those folks who don't have credit cards/can't speak good english and therefore can't get themselves hosting/registration with a good international company.
I hosted my first domain with them for 2 years, then moved elsewhere as their service sucked. Continued registering domains with them, but their support staff have become progressively ruder as time has gone by.
I'm actually going to spend my hard-earned money to transfer my domains away from them.
Take my advice - if you value yourself and your money, steer clear of these jerks. Do yourself a huge favor and go for Godaddy/Hostgator. It's cheaper and just plain damn better.

The support is REALLY BAD and they will only respond to issues as “We have made some changes, Please check now”, while they do nothing and make you get soo very frustated. These people are basically cheaters and money minded and only will do anything to make more money. The brands they advertise as their clients are not even their clients, I double checked that recently and found that some DSA’s of the brands have taken some services from them, so Znet advertises these brands as their own clients, which is not true and complete misinformation.
You will either find reviews of Znet India as VERY BAD (one star) or VERY GOOD (5 stars), this because they themselves put their good reviews, all the bad ones come from their clients.

Their support is worst and they dont care about their services. The hosting is worst and the servers are down every week. The FTP disconnects every 2 minutes and we cannot host a wordpress blog with them. When we install wordpress blog , it will say timeout error and does not install. WordPress plugins and themes cannot be installed because their apache server is weak and down. They do not promise their refund policies and they will not respond to any refund requests. I am waiting for them to reply to my refund request. Please dont ever try ZnetIndia. Check for U.S based hosting companies which offer better support and value for money. ZnetIndia is the worst host in India.

Whenever you create a ticket for some technical problem - the support guys will say - everything is working fine at their end. I don't understand what is their end. I lost so many customers because of the problems they have created.

Many days, all of a sudden, my website will not be available online
Now, 14.04.2010 since 9 Pm till now (11 40 pm), my website is not available, we had a corporate meeting and had to postpond it as i was not able to made the demonstration , accessing some data from my website also to my clients.
even my email locaiton is also not opening: http://mail.chipmate.tv
The funniest thing is, then i tried to visit their website and submit a ticket and found that their corporate website also not available online (www.znetindia.com)
I have a loss of around 13,000 Rs just because of this stupid dirty company and their service.
if anybody can suggest and guide me how to file complaint and legal action against this stupid company, please let me know.

I am a znet customer for over a year now! I know at times there might be issues of technical nature but Znet has got really customer friendly support team.
Anyone who reads your review can easily make out that you are an affiliate of Godaddy.com and MyhostingWeb.com. Please stop promoting these companies by confusing customers and users of Znet.
We have full trust in Znet India and nobody will believe your half-baked, evidence less opinions.

NEHA ( -no email- ) | this was a good host in india, no doubt, but now they have over selling:(( this is not good at all, website gets down , they have good office , good infrastructure but website gets down, so what to do with such facility ? i m tired of them now, so now i will not write even the name of my website that i hosted with them , otherwise a long series of mails form them again and again, i m tired, sorry ZnetIndia.com, well well friends the coolest method to host the website is just buy a domain name from godaddy.com and then host it with myhostingweb.com , this is free of cost, full independence on ur domain name, host with anyone , i will recommend it . and this is free of cost for one year, book domain from www.godaddy.com and then host it with www.myhostingweb.com,, by doing so, our domain name will be safe always, we can choose the host where ever we want to host, i will suggest u to do such bcoz i have lost my so many domains name with working in good position on google search engine, so it is rocking to book domain name at other and host with others :P and myhostingweb.com providing free hosting , no more autocracy of any hosting company now, we can be free to choose the host company, indeed stay away from znetindia.com . thanks
